Eastern Flava
I just returned from a trip to the east coast to film some climbing. I hadn’t been out on real rock since March, so I was excited to get back out to the real deal. I had also never experienced any climbing in the north east and I must say that it was some the of best I have ever seen. Lots of nice tall gems! I also had a chance to meet and film with some of the coolest/craziest people I have ever met. I gotta send some big thanks out to my homies Murph and Andy for hookin us up PHAT while we were out there. Murph especially hooked us up with the low down on the area and put us on with the Wild Bunch (Andy Salo, Paul Jung, Tim Keenen..etc). We will be putting out some footage from the trip real soon. Here is a vid I cut together of one Michael Penn on a DOPE problem called Filter in Great Barrington, MA. I copped a new camera jib/mono pod and this was the first bit of climbing that I had a chance to shoot with it… not too bad for a test run eh? Just a lil’ somthin to wet the appetite for some more jazz we have comin out soon. Peace!
