UPDATES!!! OHH YEAAI!! The past few weeks have been crazy… Colorado, Florida, California and then back to Colorado! Basically I have been on the move non-stop shooting video and editing. I also had a brief issue with robbery but thieves are everywhere and that situation just taught me to always keep my third eye open..anyways along the way I have learned SO MUCH about my art and how to improve. Another cool thing about traveling (besides getting to do what I LOVE!) is getting a chance to meet so many cool talented people. If I could give out some advice to anyone… it would be to get around motivated people that are doing whatever it is you are trying to do! I will fill in more on the individual trips later… until then check out a few photos I took with my phone. -Brant
Last year I was asked to film Little 5 GLOWfest and it was CRAZY. If you have ever been to Indiana University during Little 500 week, you know how wild it can get and this was no exception. If you haven’t had a chance to get down and experience the festivities…. DO IT… You won’t regret it! This year the GLOWfest team is back at it and here is the first promo video I put together for them. Check it out!

Last fall I had an opportunity to shoot and edit some video for the February issue of Ebony Magazine. The video covers a photo shoot with Chris Harris of the Chicago Bears and his wife. When I got the call to work on this shoot, three things immediately popped in my head…
1.”OH Sh*!”
2. “I’ve been reading Ebony Mag since I was a kid!”
3. “DA BEARS!!! …done deal!”

I’ve been MIA for the past few months… but I’ve just been busy damnit! haha. Anyways, I just got back from a trip out to NYC where I shot some footage for JanSport and Tilly’s. I’ve been working with JanSport for the past few months and I must admit that it has been a blast! Everyone on the JanSport team works hard and PLAYS HARDER…yeah boi! Working with the guys over at Tilly’s was just as fun too. Lions disguised as lambs! Business men/women without the suits? My kind of people. Thanks to Matt for putting me on this one! Over the next few weeks I will be posting up videos here and there that I worked on this fall, so check back. (and I mean it this time!) According to my blog/facebook analytics, there are 15 people out there that consistently check the Projekt Media blog and facebook page weekly. To those 15 repeat visitors… I f*!kin luv you too!! I recently made a trip to Colorado to shoot a couple videos for DeadPoint Magazine. Colorado (Rocky Mountain National Park especially!) has to be one of the most beautiful places on earth. Even if you are not into climbing or the outdoorsy type, you should still take a trip there and soak up some of the mountain views! Click here to check out the first video I shot featuring Mad Rock/ Hippy Tree athlete Matt Lloyd. Definitely had a blast with Matt filming this around Denver. The guy is super cool… he really has a “whats mine is yours” mindset and let me basically have his house all to myself while he was on the road. I have been lacking BIG time in the blog department… but that doesn’t mean that I’ve been sitting still! SO, I will try to touch on the highlights of the past 2 months with one string of words: After Parties, Blue Heron Winery (a lot of wine drinking!), barefooting, a giant Celtic Cross, Farm paintings, Weddings, Mike Posner, and a little shindigg known as the IU GLOWfest. I can say for sure that I have learned more about shooting video in this past two months than I have in the past two years combined! (For those that don’t know, I just laid hands on camera a little over a year and a half ago… I wasn’t one of those kids that “grew up with a camera in my hands”) Honestly, some of those lessons came the hard way, but I’m still kickin’ and moving full steam ahead! I also copped a new camera. Some of you video nerds out there know that there is a new landscape for production with the video DSLR. I too have jumped on that bandwagon with the Canon T2i, which has some pros and cons that I will discuss in a later post.

Whooaaa… so much has jumped off since my last post. First off, as you can see we have a new Projekt Media site goin on here. Thanks so much to Steve Salgado for helping out with the site/logo design. Around the end of January I hopped down to Chattanooga, TN to shoot a short video with Jimmy Webb, Brad Weaver and Brion Voges. These guys are the REAL DEAL…. and they’re cool as f*c too! Head on over to DeadPoint Magazine and check out the video. Thanks to the good folks over at HippyTree for teaming with us and hooking up some fresh duds for Jimmy & Brion to sport in the video. After my time was up in TN I ran up to Bloomington, IN to shoot some video with Dope Couture . On a side note… I had been away from Bloomington and the IU campus for a little bit and almost forgot how great it is! Bloomington just has a great vibe in the air…. So this time Dope was having an in-store with Mike Posner before his IU concert. If you don’t know about Mike Posner by now…just wait. He is a mad talented artist and might be due for a BLOWUP!
